What’s a SAM? Internally, we call our support technicians SAMs (SkyKick Account Managers) because of their level of technical expertise and their collaborative, consultative approach to helping partners. When partners call into our free, unlimited phone and email support, they immediately get someone with the knowledge to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve Partner questions.
This week we’re featuring Sabrina Swan, Technical Team Lead.
How long have you been part of the SkyKick Support team? Almost 4 years, which makes me a bit of an old timer.
What attracted you to SkyKick? SkyKick’s vision and the people, the caliber of talent here is truly amazing.
What is your current role? Technical Team Lead
What do you like most about your role? I love working with our SAMs, helping them grow in their careers, achieve their goals and watching them succeed.
What is your favorite SkyKick feature and why? The discovery process, it requires very little input to produce extensive results.
What is most challenging? Keeping up with new and rapidly changing technology.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Spending time with my family and friends.
What is something about you that surprises people when they get to know you? Singing! I had a band for many years. I named the band using a computer algorithm which came up with Inside Outlaws. Although I no longer perform, I still sing on a regular basis, including lots of karaoke with my husband and daughter.
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be? Healing, for many reasons.
What else about you do you think would be interesting to our partners? My husband was a stage manager in his spare time for a NW band. We spent a Summer touring and meeting some famous musicians like Blake Shelton, Kenny Rogers, everyone from Lynyrd Skynyrd and so many more. And in case anyone wants to know a pizza Kenny Rogers likes, it’s pepperoni and pineapple!
